Terms & Conditions
By booking a service with SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings & Quotations
1.1 All quotations are estimates based on the information provided by the customer.
1.2 Final pricing may change following physical inspection of the vehicle.
1.3 SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO reserves the right to refuse work on any vehicle if its condition differs significantly from the information supplied during booking.
1.4 A booking is not confirmed until accepted by SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO.
2. Vehicle Condition
2.1 Customers must disclose any known defects, damage, previous repairs, repainting, wraps, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coatings, or other modifications before work commences.
2.2 Failure to disclose previous repairs or damage may affect the outcome of the service and SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO accepts no responsibility for issues arising from undisclosed defects.
2.3 Vehicles with previously repaired, repainted, or weakened paintwork carry a higher risk during machine polishing and correction work.
2.4 Existing damage may be photographed and documented before work begins.
3. Paint Correction & Detailing Services
3.1 Paint correction is designed to improve the appearance of vehicle paintwork but does not guarantee the complete removal of all scratches, swirl marks, stone chips, etching, oxidation, or defects.
3.2 Results vary depending on paint condition, paint thickness, previous repairs, vehicle age, and manufacturer paint quality.
3.3 SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO will always work within safe paint correction limits and will not remove defects where doing so could compromise paint integrity.
3.4 Certain defects may remain visible following treatment if complete removal would create unnecessary risk.
4. Ceramic Coatings
4.1 Ceramic coatings provide a protective layer and enhanced gloss but do not make a vehicle scratch-proof, chip-proof, or damage-proof.
4.2 Longevity claims are based on proper maintenance and may vary depending on vehicle use, storage, washing methods, and environmental conditions.
4.3 Failure to follow aftercare guidance may reduce coating performance and durability.
5. Window Tinting
5.1 SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO is not responsible for pre-existing damage to glass, window mechanisms, trim, seals, or electrical components.
5.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring any tint selected complies with applicable road traffic regulations.
5.3 Small water pockets, haze, or minor imperfections may be visible immediately after installation and usually form part of the curing process.
6. Interior Cleaning
6.1 While every effort is made to achieve the best possible results, permanent staining, wear, fading, dye transfer, burns, odours, and material deterioration may not be fully removable.
6.2 Certain heavily soiled vehicles may require additional time and charges.
7. Personal Belongings
7.1 Customers are responsible for removing all valuables and personal items from their vehicle prior to the appointment.
7.2 SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings left within the vehicle.
8. Vehicle Collection
8.1 Customers must inspect their vehicle upon collection.
8.2 Any concerns regarding the service provided should be raised before the vehicle leaves the premises.
8.3 Once the vehicle has left the premises, any new damage or contamination occurring afterwards cannot be attributed to SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO.
9. Photography & Marketing
9.1 SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO may photograph or video vehicles before, during, and after services for condition reports, quality control, insurance purposes, training, and marketing.
9.2 Registration numbers and personal information will not be intentionally disclosed without consent.
10. Liability
10.1 SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO maintains public liability insurance; however, liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
10.2 SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO shall not be liable for:
* Pre-existing defects or damage.
* Failure of previous repairs.
* Mechanical or electrical failures unrelated to the service performed.
* Wear and tear, deterioration, or manufacturing defects.
* Damage caused by undisclosed vehicle modifications or previous repairs.
10.3 Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
11. Cancellations & Deposits
11.1 Deposits are non-refundable if a booking is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice.
11.2 Customers who fail to attend their appointment without notice may forfeit their deposit.
11.3 SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to circumstances beyond its control, including severe weather, equipment failure, illness, or other unforeseen events.
12. Acceptance
By booking a service with SRL THE DETAIL STUDIO, the customer confirms that:
* The information provided during booking is accurate.
* They have disclosed all known vehicle defects and previous repairs.
* They understand the limitations of detailing, paint correction, ceramic coatings, and window tinting services.
* They accept these Terms & Conditions.
